Free help is here for you — no strings.

Pain Free Now

This workbook teaches a simple tool you can use right away to decrease pain, relax and take a pain free breath.

The message that pain gives us is to do something NOW. This workbook will let you know what you can do today.

Being in pain can put a big damper on living. Life just isn’t as much fun when you hurt. You still need to go to get through your daily activities. Just because you’re in pain doesn’t mean that life gives you a break. Several days of following Pain Free Now suggestions can give you that needed break.

“Boy, do I love the ‘static back’ exercise! I sit in front of a computer all day and have a tendency to lean forward, putting strain on my neck and low back. Now I just take a couple of short breaks during the day to do the exercise. What a difference it makes! After five minutes, the strain in my back is gone and I feel rejuvenated.”

Even though answers don’t necessarily solve our problem, they can help us focus on what will. With this workbook, I think you will learn something about your own body which can provide a direction for healing.

There are many methods out there that address pain. Finding one that is right for you can be challenging. This workbook is an opportunity for you to see if this approach will work for you.

Further Resources

The following links are for organizations I have directly studied with or have purchased products from that I recommend.

Egoscue Method

This is the method that I primarily use. If you are interested in private work, but don’t live or visit the Tucson area, you can go to the Egoscue site. The site provides a list of clinics or you can see if there is an individual practitioner in your area by going to the affiliates page.

Balance Center

This was my first introduction to posture work. I learned very specific guidelines about how to sit, stand, bend, walk and comfortably sleep. I still use all of them.

Continuum Movement

Doing this work was my entryway into understanding the body as a changeable, adaptable, cooperative ally. It uses gentle sound, breath and subtle movement to explore and heal the body.

Continuum Montage

This work is an amazing synthesis of many aspects of having a body. Workshops vary with explorations spanning from the power of perception to the fluidity of emotions to the delight of feeling ourselves deeply connected to the planet.

Therapy Zones

You can purchase Egoscue Method products here such as foam pillows which can make your exercises more pleasurable.
